Block Heater 2018

I just finished a fantastic weekend gig at the Block Heater festival, doing the sound in the Performance Hall at the National Music Centre. It's always a pleasure to work with those fine folks from both NMC and Calgary FolkFest. Justin Townes Earle, Iris Dement, Jessica Moss, Heavy Bell (in photo), Ndidi Onukwulu and Dan Bern all played terrific sets to capacity crowds. I didn't get a chance to check out the other shows, but there were stories of the 7th-story SkyBridge actually bouncing from the dancing. Exhilarating, but I think I'll need a couple days to recuperate.
